“I invited Lynette Hawkins to come and lead an all day workshop for Trinity Presbytery. She was lively, energetic, engaging and highly knowledgeable about the subject matter she presented.
Lynette received high scores on all of the evaluation forms we received.”

The A.R.K. one-day seminar is designed to equip communicators, volunteers and leaders seeking to better communicate with members and the community beyond the walls. Lynette covers very practical ways to invite, reach and welcome the community. This seminar includes four modules.
Module 1 focuses on what it means to be inward versus outward; how to identify your target audience; a biblical approach to effectively communicating and how to shape messages that are relevant to the people you’re trying to reach. Module 2 provides very practical tools you can use to reach out and invite through members, media and simply walking the neighborhood. We introduce you to F.A.S.K. (Friends, Acquaintances, Strangers and Kin) and share ways to get the word out about what you are doing. In Module 3, each participant takes a “guest walk” to make specific suggestions to the group as to what the congregation might do to be more guest-friendly, Module 4 ignites the energy for welcoming even strangers on Sunday morning. Lynette wraps up the seminar by answering questions and giving each participant action plans to jumpstart their communication efforts. Participants receive F.A.S.K. cards, handout of the slides and practical ideas they can use immediately.
