Facilitation
Facilitating Strategic Planning & Vision Building
If you are the pastor or head of your organization, then you cannot facilitate and fully participate at the same time! Using an outside facilitator allows you opportunity to take an active part in the shaping of your plans.
With the goal of shaping a vision for change, we facilitate your planning process and guide the leadership team to make decisions for the future. We provide customized facilitation in the following areas:
Strategic Planning aimed at increasing your relevancy to the community you serve over the next 2-5 years. From internal conversations to reaching out into the community, we can help you facilitate processes to reach beyond the walls of the church.
Board Leadership to strengthen leadership effectiveness as a governing body.
WHY SELECT AN OUTSIDER?
Benefits of utilizing an outside facilitator are numerous. Here are a few:
More “Ah ha” Moments – Sometimes stepping back and hearing something for the first time sheds new light on an old situation.
Objective Viewpoint – An outside facilitator does not have the day-to-day experience with your organization resulting in a fresh perspective.
“Good Questions” – As facilitator, we do not tell you what to do, but instead we ask the “good questions” to lead you to think and respond to where the Holy Spirit is leading you.
Experience Sitting in Both Seats – Our facilitator has been recipient of working with a professional facilitator and facilitated processes for groups. Seeing it from both sides helps us to keep your needs and the organization’s needs in mind from the very beginning.
Our Teaching Moments – Beyond facilitation, we can take the time to educate your leadership team on relevant data regarding church growth and reaching the next generation of believers.
OUR FACILITATION PROCESS
Step One: Meet to identify goals of the project and meeting agenda.
Step Two: Determine date, time, facility for meeting or retreat.
Step Three: Facilitate discussion to bring group consensus and understand the vision.
